Terms and Conditions

SCHOEMANS ONLINE SHOPPING

1. Definitions
“Website” refers to the official Schoemans online store.
“Online shoppers” refers to customers who purchase goods from Schoemans online.
“Schoemans,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Schoemans (Pty) Ltd.
“Third-party provider” refers to any company partnered with Schoemans to sell goods through the Schoemans online store.
“You” refers to the customer purchasing from Schoemans online.

2. General
These Online Shopping Terms govern your use of the Schoemans website to purchase goods. These terms should be read together with:
• The Terms of Website Use,
• The Credit Terms (if applicable), and
• The Delivery and Returns Policy.
By shopping online with Schoemans, you agree to abide by all these terms.

3. Acceptance
By placing an order, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions. You also agree that Schoemans may issue invoices electronically.

4. Your Online Profile and Personal Information
To shop online, you must create a Schoemans online profile, which requires a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Schoemans is not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorised access to your profile.
By purchasing online, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information for order fulfillment, payment processing, and communication purposes. If you do not consent, you should not use the online shopping service. Please refer to the Schoemans Privacy Policy for further details.

5. Goods and Pricing

5.1 Product Availability
• All goods displayed on the website are subject to availability.
• Goods are only available for delivery within Namibia.
• If a product is unavailable after placing an order, we will notify you as soon as possible.

5.2 Pricing
• Prices are displayed in Namibian Dollars (NAD) and apply only within Namibia.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

5.3 Display Accuracy
While we aim for accurate representation, product images and colours may vary depending on your device display.

5.4 Order Confirmation and Completion
• Your order is only confirmed once Schoemans has processed and dispatched your goods or made them available for collection.
• Adding an item to your cart or wish list does not secure stock or pricing.

5.5 Order Cancellation by Schoemans
Schoemans may cancel an order if:
• There is a suspected fraudulent transaction.
• There is a pricing or stock error.
• The customer has a history of non-payment or abuse of promotions.
If an order is cancelled by Schoemans, a full refund will be processed.

6. Delivery, Collection, and Storage

6.1 Delivery Fees
• A delivery fee will be charged based on location and product type.
• Printers and large appliances may incur additional delivery costs.

6.2 Delivery Times
• Deliveries occur Monday to Thursday, 09:00 – 17:00 & Friday from 09:00 – 16:00 (excluding weekends & public holidays).
• We deliver only within Namibia. A third-party courier service may carry out delivery.

6.3 Delivery Process
• Delivery will be made to the address provided during checkout.
• Schoemans is not responsible for goods once they have been delivered and signed for.

6.4 Order Collection
• Customers may opt to collect orders from selected Schoemans stores.
• Collection must be arranged at least 2 working days in advance.
• Proper identification and order confirmation are required at pickup.

6.5 Storage Policy
• If goods remain uncollected for 28 days, the order may be cancelled, and refund deductions may apply.

7. Returns and Warranty

7.1 Returns Policy
• You may return unused goods within 7 days of delivery/collection.
• Goods must be in original packaging and accompanied by a receipt.

7.2 Incorrect or Defective Items

• If you receive an incorrect or defective item, do not remove labels or packaging.
• Contact Schoemans immediately for a free return, replacement/refund.
• If damage occurs after delivery due to misuse, improper installation, or exposure to harsh conditions, the return will not be accepted.

7.3 Warranty Conditions
• Goods are covered under a manufacturer’s warranty (where applicable).
• Printers intended for home use are not designed for commercial use, and such use may void the warranty.

8. Order Cancellation by Customer
• Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by clicking the Cancel button in your order summary.
• If goods have already left the warehouse, you will be charged:
• A delivery fee, and

• A 10% cancellation fee.

Refunds will only be processed once returned items are received.

9. Payment Security
Schoemans ensures secure online transactions by using reputable payment service providers.

9.1 Payment Methods
• Credit/Debit Card: Payment is processed at checkout.
• EFT/Bank Transfer: Payment must be received before order processing.

9.2 Refund Processing
Refunds for returns or cancelled orders may take up to 10 working days to reflect in your account.

10. General Terms
• Schoemans reserves the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice.
• By using the online store, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this document.
